SUBMIT A POSTER
The National Perinatal Association invites you to submit proposals for poster presentations for consideration as part of our annual conference.
We believe that everyone has the right to high-quality, respectful perinatal care.
The last year of the pandemic has reminded us that the U.S. healthcare system has failed to deliver on the promise of health equity. While standards of care have improved for some, they remain disparate for those of us who are:
To re-imagine a healthcare system that is fair, just, equitable, and accessible to all, we must examine our biases, interrogate broken systems, and explore new ways of delivering care.
We are looking for poster presentations that relate to studying this topic or addressing such issues through institutional and community-based programs or public policy.
Posters may describe contributions to theory, policy development, program development and evaluation, delivery of services, or research.
There are 3 categories for submissions:
Innovative Models of Care
Applied or Basic Research
Public policies or local initiatives developed to address healthcare inequities and disparities
We are particularly interested in presentations focusing on community-specific, family-centered, and culturally-informed approaches.
Priority will be given to presentations that incorporate the role of families and self advocates in policy and service delivery.
We highly encourage that every poster presentation include parents as partners and co-presenters.
We encourage the submission of posters previously presented at State Perinatal Associations meetings. Presentations previously presented at other scientific conferences are also invited.
