CLOSED for 2024
Deadline was FEBRUARY 15
The National Perinatal Association invites you to submit proposals for poster presentations for consideration as part of our annual conference.
Inquire about presenting in 2025 by emailing klove(at)nationalperinatal.org
We believe that everyone has the right to high-quality, respectful care. And we believe that the perinatal period is the time when we can build a foundation for a lifetime.
We know that the care we deliver during the perinatal period has the potential to change lives.

When we help people preserve their reproductive health, have healthy pregnancies, and care for themselves postpartum, we help empower them to take agency of their own health and wellbeing.

When we invest in care for newborn dyads, infants, and children, we build healthier communities.

We believe that perinatology is at its best when we both:

-
address the unique health care needs of each patient, parent, and infant to improve the lives of individuals and families
-
serve the public health needs of our community to improve our collective health and wellbeing.

We are looking for poster presentations that relate to studying this topic or addressing such issues through research, institutional and community-based programs, and public policy.

Posters may describe contributions to theory, policy development, program development and evaluation, delivery of services, or research.
We are particularly interested in presentations focusing on community-specific, family-centered, and culturally-informed approaches.
Priority will be given to presentations that incorporate the role of families and self advocates in policy and service delivery.
We highly encourage that every poster presentation include parents as partners and co-presenters.

We encourage the submission of posters previously presented at State Perinatal Associations meetings. Presentations previously presented at other scientific conferences are also invited.
There are 3 categories for submissions:
-
Innovative Models of Care
-
Applied or Basic Research
-
Public policies or local initiatives developed to address healthcare inequities and disparities
A NOTE about PRESENTING your POSTER:
Our goal is to create space where presenters and conference attendees can come together, share their work, and learn from each other.
NPA welcomes multiple presentations from your team.
However, in order to provide meaningful opportunities for interacting, we require that each poster has a dedicated presenter.
In other words, while an individual can be an author on multiple presentations, each poster must have a dedicated registered presenter. One attendee may not present multiple posters.

See our guidance for poster presenters.
